In the early 1980’s through a public-private partnership with the British Government, a line of axial piston products that used plain water as the hydraulic fluid instead of oil was developed.  As a result, water hydraulic axial piston pumps, motors and other related products have been marketed and applied to various industries since 1987.

The Water Hydraulics Company (TWHC) and its principals have nearly 30 years of history, accumulated intellectual property and proprietary know-how in water hydraulics that goes back to the original public-private development programs. Since that time they have continuously been involved in the development and manufacture of water hydraulic products. They boast a development and manufacturing team with experience, institutional knowledge and history that is unmatched in the industry.

TWHC relocated to Hull, England in 2001.  In Hull, they enjoy a strong manufacturing base where they outsource their general manufacturing needs in order to improve quality and reduce costs while still maintaining a high capacity for further product development.  This focus on product development makes them an ideal partner for Ocean Pacific Technologies in the development and marketing of axial piston products specifically designed for the SWRO industry.  TWHC also boasts a strong quality program that is ISO 9001 certified.
